Ok, we've gotten the conversation started on the wrong foot, and it's time to get back on track.
Let's put the policies aside for now. I want to know what people think of the big picture of the site right now. The Voter Guides, the Electoral Calendar, etc. We need to work through a debate about the way we're going to do categories on deep pages, like (State) (Race) election, (Year). There are two proposals on the site for how to knit these together. Thoughts? Where is everyone? People in the US are focused on November 7th, but there is a lot going on around the world. How can we get some good information about what is happening in Mexico? Don't post it here, put it on the site. But let us know that you are on this list, and that you have information to share. Issues will always divide us. What will unite us? What kind of vision do we have for the wiki? What belongs, what doesn't? How do we define ourselves outside of Wikipedia? How do we work alongside the blogs? These are the questions this list is set up to discuss. Let's get to it.
