So, I switched my Camping app from Camping 1.5 to Camping 2.0 and deployed it using these Passenger instructions...
...worked the first time! Amazing! I spent several hours figuring out the FastCGI shared hosting instructions for Dreamhost for Camping 1.5, and for Camping 2.0. This is hideously easier and faster.
