Day 2 - Sunday July 2nd - Ivinghoe Locks to Slapton Wharf 1 mile 1 furlong, 2 locks, 55 minutes
Even less boating today than yesterday! Set off at 8.55am and tied up for the night at 9.50am. Got showered, then walked back to Marsworth to retrieve my car. The Samba band were booked to perform at the St Albans "Lark in the Park" festival, which involved three 45 minute sets in three different parks in St Albans and London Colney. Dropped my car off at my parents, then took a bus to Watford Junction and then a train to Leighton Buzzard. I was intending to walk back to Slapton along the towpath, but felt altogether too knackered, so took the easy option of getting a taxi. Back on the boat at 8.20pm, but couldn't be bothered to start cruising. Maybe tmorrow will see a bit more progress. Weather - Sunny. Forecast Sunny.
