Hi Folks,

I noticed when we went over Stretton Aqueduct (A5 on the shroppie), that the
towpath was nicely cut down, but the whole aqueduct was overgrown with
nettles, and grass. There were also many bridges with overhanging nettles. I
think I would perfer BW to spend time on maintaining vegetation at these
sorts of points than miles of towpath. There were also many trees
overhanging well over the middle of the canal from the non towpath side
which need sorting out - and as typical another boat was always coming the
other way!
