The advice given by the Press gurus at IWA/RYA etc is that it is best to each letter as individual as possible and to be sure to ask your MP to approach the Minister concerned as they then have to do just that and reply back with some sort of response.
If you write directly to the minister they are more likely to put the letter in the file without action. Nevertheless, it is also worth a try. If you've never lobbied yor MP like this before, this is the campaign to do it. And this should be as soon as possible. Visit http://www.writetothem.com/ and send a copy to all of the bu**gers.
