Have now managed to see the Politics Show piece on the campaign via the web. I thought that the report presented an element of why do BW need all this money from the taxpayer attitude. For instance pointing out that BWs turnover was £190 million but AFAICS not saying that in fact £70 million came from the Government. It also put a heavy emphasis on regeneration, as if this was all that there is too it. Lord Rooker on the live interview tried to make out that it was all a storm in a teacup, and did he really suggest that the job losses were not related?
