I would suggest the red colour will never be completely removed. However, some people may not know that is not the only way of determining what fuel has been used. The colour in inmaterial. The R&C boys know that it's easily removed, so their testing unit does *not* rely on colour. Certain chemicals are added to red fuel. These can be quantified by gas chromatography - that will give them an accurrate proportion of red to white. Once we start having to buy white, I would suggest keeping a log of your diesel purchases.
