The Adverc doesn't shows the volts, it just manipulates them to give you a 
full charge (which you can't get with just an alternator) - maybe that will 
be an item to add to 2007's wish list?
TVs! Now they have a nasty habit of eating the power.  When ours starts 
getting funny, then the volts are down to almost 10 - we get an audio 
buzzing when there is a bright picture to display - probably has some 
technical name like Buzz On Bright Picture ;-)
