Working with colleagues using a number of different European languages, 
most are much more phonetic than English, and many decline nouns etc. - 
including names, which is a bit startling, so if A introduces B to C, 
both B and C's names change. Does make you wonder about your identity 
when people start renaming you, but it must simplify understanding!
