Are  you sure that it is not the pub at Buxworth that they use  ?



As far as I know it's the same place. The traditional name was Bugsworth,  
but incoming residents didn't like the idea of a place name with 'Bugs' in it 
so 
 it was renamed Buxworth.
 
I suppose it's only a matter of time before incomers at Bugbrooke  
(Northants) want to change their village's name to Budbrook.
