Thanks to all those who gave information about LB Faulkner, especially Bruce of this Parish. Sadly I can claim no familial link to that branch of the Faulkner clan unless it was before the civil war. That's the point at which our family tree got put onto a bonfire and burnt, as it were; documents were lost or destroyed. Oh well, nice thought while it lasted. I'll have to wait until they find where canalcaholism is located in the genome and check out my mitochondrial DNA.
