Log: Thursday 15th February 2006 Set off at 07:20, no boats about. By 09:50 we had completed 9.5 miles, at an average speed of 3.8mph. Not bad you might think, but sadly this was all on the M1. Totally disheartened we exited the stationary southbound queue at Woodhall Services (South Sheffield), nipped out of the 'Authorised vehicles only' exit for the use of service area employees and headed back home.
