I absolutely love that building! The 'hole' as you describe it (for those
not familiar) is more of a 'chunk' or 'section' of the building cut out to
eighth floor level, and supported by what is strictly speaking a column, but
one which looks preposerously delicate for the weight it supports. The
inset, BTW, is mirror glass which gives some extraordinary reflections at
different times of day.

I am a great lover of Brough, once the only ward of the City of London to be
outside of the city walls. I am a regular at Borough Market, the cathederal
is a lost gem of London and Tate Modern a real testimony to the fact we can
really do art in this country.

I live a couple of stops away at Blackheath
