Agreed this is a logical route (maybe the only one actually) but the map 
on Mike's site doesn't make it clear what was intended. I'll ask around 
among the CUCT crowd.

Macclesfield CS keep the flag flying on it I believe. We in the CUCT are 
more focussed on going south to Uttoxeter at the moment, though I'm sure 
we'd be very supportive of any proposal.
