Now there's a thought. Smoking ban now complete, lets turn our attention to
dogs in public places. Dirty, smelly, noisy and lets not forget dangerous,
250,000 people every year are bitten by dogs, some of them result in it
being fatal. Clearly the 'owner' above has no control whatsoever over the
animal and this could be a serious heath hazard. Dogs off leads often mess
up the towpath and anywhere else they fancy without the 'owner' having the
slightest idea it has taken place, intentionally in my view, hence the
phrase "I always pick up after my dog" ( if I see it", snigger ). Dogs on
leads, muzzled and under control, I can see a case for that, but over all,
lets ban them altogether in public places and make world a more pleasant
place to live for us all.

Tongue in cheek?

Andrew
