BRANCH AGM

Followed by Graham Ettles talking at approximately 20:00 on:

The Millennium Link

Graham will be telling the story of the Millennium Link, which was the
project to restore the Forth and Clyde Canal and the Edinburgh and
Glasgow Union Canal, now know as the Union Canal.

He will be giving the story of the building of the canals, the decline
and the restoration over the past 30+ years.

Graham has been a member of the branch committee since 1981. He
currently holds the post of treasurer. He is a long-term canal
enthusiast, and is 50% Scottish - hence the subject of the talk?

The meeting starts at 19:30 at the Gloucester Yacht Club, Gloucester
Docks, GL1 2EH (near the regimental museum). Non-members are welcome to
join the meeting for the talk and discussion from 20:00. Free entry.
