Well I warned one prospective moorer that the bank on the offside 
there was designed to overtop when the river was high. (Part of the 
1980s flood alleviation scheme). I think he took my advice...

The trouble generally is that after a few years without a flood 
people assume it has 'stopped happening'. Shame really though.
