You're way out on your error-distance Steve. I've been using three different makes of sat nav and one speed camera alert device on my cars for some time now. All are much more accurate than you suggest. In a city, where there might be two right turns (say) in close succession you can sometimes get slight confusion (more to do with making the correct choice at driving speed in traffic with another (ahem) motorist right up your back bumper IMO) but in general they are superb. The speed camera device warns with increasing rapidity of beeps up until the camera and then, almost immediately, switches off as you pass the camera so the accuracy is superb IMO. Roger
