This is my second attempt to reply to this - on the previous attempt the mail
sender demanded I enter its code (as it does most of the time) and then said my
attempt was wrong and as punishment it was deleting my message. One wonders if

Shame she wasn't a rottweiler, then maybe some of the fishermen might have
dived into the cut to get away.
On one occasion we were passing a happy chappie when he pulled in a turtle
on his hook. I told him not to try getting it off the hook with his finger but
the creature was less than 2 inches across and he being a...
He was still sceaming with much blood and the little things jaws locked on

Actually this second message is being sent for the second time - it was
drafted then sent (at 16-30). At that time I got the message sent
acknowledgment and assumed it had gone but as at 22-20 it has not appeared in
my inbox or on the groups history file I wonder if it has got lost. So I will
send it again and hope it gets through.
Looking at the groups history file there seems to be less messages tonight
which makes me wonder if something is amiss.

I may have posted this before but when my Bull Terrier Bess was my crewmate on
my first boat, I used to often offload her @ a bridgehole & accelerate
away--ensuring that she got her 'tats' without me losing time taking her for a
walk. This was fine until one day round the next bend was a 200 peg fishing
match. Bess bumbled into fisherman No#1's maggots tipping them all over the
towpath. Fisherman No#2 rushed to help No#1 & Bess knocked No#2's unattended
rod into the water etc etc.....
