Do Ownerships put them on a shore charge if they are not being used for a

Not as far as I know. There are the two circuits so the chances are the
engine will start and will begin charging the domestic batteries. The
'handbook'
does tell us to turn off all circuits at the breaker before we leave and we
usually start the engine as soon as we can to get up to power.

The worst we had was that after having the TV on in the evening, along with
lights and the laptop, the next morning there wasn't enough power for the
inverter to drive the microwave or toaster - so it was fry-up and grill on the
gas system.

The satellite system (by Crystop) will drain it's internal memory when the
power is off so when you try turning it on for the first time after a long
lay-up its menus are in German and it will try and find the Astra-1 satellites.

This is a bit confusing until you realise what the problem is and it's
(fairly!) easy to get it back to 'normal'.

Otherwise, lack of power doesn't seem to be a major problem but you have to
be sensible and remember the effects of your own 'lifestyle' are different on
the support systems on a boat and you have to adapt as necessary.
