We had that and could not solve it. Eventually the glass cracked and removing the retaining screws was tricky, which prompted a thread here. In the end I bought a new door (£180 or so) and then had the courage to mess with the old door. I did eventually get the glass replaced in the original and thus keep it as a spare ! Beeky
