That's exactly my type of bedtime reading. I've got numerous old JP books but not that one, so a copy by PDF would be welcomed for the archive. Basically I'm doing it all wrong. But I don't know anybody who twiddles with those compression changeovers. I was distinctly told not to mess with them. But on the G&S and Severn in theory I know I should be working on low compression. I will check that they are in fact set to high, which I think means screwed right in. regards Beeky
