Thanks though I'd already found that link through googling. Aerials do all seem to be male these days however. Unless anyone can come up with a better suggestion I just get a piece of metal an drill two holes in it. A big one that I can fix to the roof base point with a big nut and a little one that I can fix a modern aerial too. I'm sure it will pick up Radio Heath Robinson pretty well. -- Nigel Stanley
