Owing to the reluctance of old TNC members to come forward for duty, there
is the possibility of Irish boating for closet TNC fans...So if anyone is
interested drop me a line. Earnest will not be in Ireland for ever, so take
advantage!
June 21st for a month. Ballinamore, SEW/Shannon/Grand/Barrow/Tidal Suir to
Carrick/Tidal Nore/return to Shannon/Limerick, inc Ardnacrusha power station
lock and Abbey River/Return to Ballinamore. If anytime over we will go down
to Loughs Erne. Crew preferably in at least week blocks. With a bit of
notice you should be able to get return flights to Dublin all in for 50
quid, or less, even Aer Lingus from Heathrow. We will never be that far away
from an IE station, taxis are cheap in ROI.
While not Beavering away, I am beavering away on the first big Irish update
to the TNC website.
Wilderness Beaver Mini Me is going to Moria Festival 12th-13th May and IWA
National Trialboat Festival on the Grantham 26th-28th May. If anyone wants
to pop in and knock off these land locked bits of canal, I am sure we will
see how many people you can fit in a Beaver!
