Well, that sort of explains it. I think. We've noticed a new trend for mallards on the K&A west to land on the boat while it's under way - first observed once last year and then twice during last weekend's outing. All instances occurred between Bradford-on-Avon and Dundas so it might just be local knowledge on the duck grapevine. Or they'd seen an SD1 on a bridge and were trying to escape. Baz
