We've been through about half a dozen times in the past decade and not seen a keeper. Apparently the house above the lock is occupied by a BW employee but is to be sold. There was a bit on the regional TV news last week about the efforts of local people to help the occupant to acquire the house from BW. <http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/bristol/6671755.stm> Given its location, size and relative youth, I'd guess that it might be rather dear.
