I happened to meet one of the moorers from the Puddle Banks on Saturday. A very
pleasant person who was doing up a wooden boat. He has one tree and is now
looking out for a second. Repairing a wooden boat takes time and isn't a quick
or tidy job. Also he is moored on the non towpath side. At least someone is
trying to save our heritage.
