I happened to meet one of the moorers from the Puddle Banks on Saturday. A very pleasant person who was doing up a wooden boat. He has one tree and is now looking out for a second. Repairing a wooden boat takes time and isn't a quick or tidy job. Also he is moored on the non towpath side. At least someone is trying to save our heritage. Sue nb Nackered Navvy
