You can also add the Shoulder of Mutton in Foxton to the list. Just up the  
Harborough Arm, leave the towpath at Black Horse Bridge and walk down the  hill 
AWAY FROM the Black Horse pub. It's a hundred yards or so from  the bridge, 
set back from the road. I think it's almost canalside  on the way to Leicester 
but I'm fairly sure it's not accessible from the  cut as IIRC there's paddocks 
between it and the off side bank. If you  have any special dietary 
requirements, the chef is always willing to help and  will even produce 'off 
menu' items.
 
It also does B&B £50 per room per night including continental  breakfast.
