It's a bit of a walk apparently but it is still on my "to do list". Was it Dave D who recommended that a few years back, or possibly one of my other pals Dozey, Mick or Titch Twas I. You can also add the Shoulder of Mutton in Foxton to the list. Just up the Harborough Arm, leave the towpath at Black Horse Bridge and walk down the hill AWAY FROM the Black Horse pub. It's a hundred yards or so from the bridge, set back from the road. I think it's almost canalside on the way to Leicester but I'm fairly sure it's not accessible from the cut as IIRC there's paddocks between it and the off side bank. If you have any special dietary requirements, the chef is always willing to help and will even produce 'off menu' items. It also does B&B £50 per room per night including continental breakfast.
