Adrian Adrian Stott 07956-299966 I'd assumed it would be quiet, but then it seems to me that in terms of the shift from freight to leisure, the French canals are in some ways in a similar situation to ours several decades ago. Presumably leisure traffic will increase... a good thing for the prospects of survival, if slightly sad for those of us nostalgic for quieter waterways!
