Is this maybe what you saw? Larry That's a domestic Muscovy duck - the wild ones, which are black with a green gloss, come from Mexico and points south, presumably named by the same geographically challenged person who named the West Indies. Wild ones have white wing-patches and domestic ones can be piebald, or, like this one, all-white. Their mothers may think they're charming but not me! Sean
