We have the LeeSan manual beast - simple design, healthy exercise, we
can pump our 300 litre tank in around 15 mins actual pumping time,
takes about half and hour plus from start to finish, including rinsing
the tank and then rinsing out the pump with cut water before stowing it
again.
We've just returned the LeeSan AC pump - it's rated at 550W, but
actually needs about 6kW to start it. Discussion with Chris C at St
Ives produced the admission that the 12v DC pump they are selling is
very slow - about half the speed of the manual beast.
