Please, do all turn up in your dozens! And, afterwards, what better way than to raise an ice-cold gin'n'tonic to Mike's memory? In this evening's phone conversation with Wendy, I asked her about what charities would be appropriate for those who might wish to make a donation in memory of Mike. The answer is, unsurprisingly, any waterways charity of your choice - and, for those who have no preferences, the Waterways Recovery Group <http://www.wrg.org.uk/>. Apparently they have established that Mike died of a pulmonary embolism - i.e. a large blood clot which lodged in his lung. The instant effect of this would have been cutting off oxygen to his brain, so he would have known absolutely nothing about it. I don't know about the rest of you, but I find this a comfort. -- Molly Mockford Please note that the address [EMAIL PROTECTED] is NOW NO LONGER accepting e-mail except from mailing lists.
