Forget how far the wine has travelled to the UK and how much carbon footprint that caused. Just think about how much power is used to work the locks on the MSC! Why 50 tonnes a time on a S H I P canal? This is nothing but a publicity stunt, the carbon footprint of that 40 mile journey must be the size of a herd of mammoths after a curry!
