I can speak for a 2 week cruise on P&O Arcadia, Acapulco to Carribbean, 
Balcony cabin, inc a somewhat bigger canal, and seeing a lot of Mexico and 
Carribbean.
Works out at £115 per person per day inc all food and transfers  ;-)

My boating in Ireland this year cost me around £1600, - moorings, licence 
fees, diesel and insurance (no BSS) for around 10 weeks boating, ie around 
£23 a day.

Boating over here will soon not stack up for anybody.
