Bruce arose from his New Year stupor and graced us with this bit of <cough> wisdom/humour:
> <irony mode> only because that sad b*st*rd Millin hasn't woken up yet > (from New Year, probably) </irony mode> > > :-}}}}}} > > All the best Ahh, good evening Mr Napier, how nice to see that your compus mentis again after your recent period of inebriation. When one arrives at your advanced number of years I presume it takes you longer to recover than us younger guys? Never mind, it can only be further downhill for you from now on. ;-))) By the way, your posting is factually inaccurate; I did know my father, met him most of my life and even worked in the same business as him. After my parents had me they gave up trying for another as they said that you can't beat perfection, ahem! ;-))) How's the cut round your way? We've had some snow today but the cut isn't freezing over yet. Forecast is for warmer weather in the next day or so but I must get around to winterising Albion soon just in case we get a sudden really cold snap. There is an advantage to live- aboard boating; you don't have that chore every year. ATB Roger
