Does anyone know whether there was any damage to the waterway due to the fire?
>From the on-line videos, it appears to have been quite extensive and fierce,, but I've found no reports of injuries. Some of the market/eating area is/was built over a basin above the lock, in a somewhat questionable manner. Perhaps we might get the basin back as part of the rebuilding?
