Thanks for that - I had a really good twiddle and poke at all the options yesterday and have had some success somehow. That box is still ticked and whatever else I did in my exasperation has brought some sort of positive result. Meanwhile in matters Mac I am still plucking up the enthusiasm to rebuild my OSX environment and Andy Greener of this parish knows how I get a bit "digit prodding happy" when things don't seem to be going quite right.
