Unfortunately I have to buy it! It's a bone of contention every year.Very weird
this morning [day one] The powers-that-be have deemed that the queue will no
longer be allowed onto the pavements of S.W. 19 [our old mate 'elf & safety]
therefore you'll not ever see again the ''tented village'' overnight & indeed
there is only one queue now, that from the Southfields direction to the
grounds. The southern queue having been discontinued. Consequently coming in
some twenty minutes ago, with no-one around, it was more like the ''end of
term'' feeling I normally get on the last four days when all tickets have been
pre-sold.
I suppose, like the roof coming into operation next year, we'll all get used
to it.
