Any comments Debbi?
Funny you should raise this as it was in my mind an hour or so ago. I've just passed through Great Haywood where it costs £1 to use Anglo-Welsh's Elsan Disposal facility (and fair enough as it is theirs) but it occurred that there is no BW facility between Penkridge and Fazeley which is a couple of days cruising for some folks. (Fradley is not on the route unless you divert and drop down a lock or carry the cassette several hundred yards.) I clearly recall BW making a huge fuss a few years ago about a plan to provide lots of extra facilities around the network. I also recall noticing that no extra facilities at all appeared on any canals I visited in the following year other than additional taps at a couple of existing water points, which is a slightly creative definition of "extra facilities." On the bright side - my licence arrived today after only 6 weeks. Actually it arrived a week ago at an old address that I definitely didn't use when I put in the application and it has the wrong expiry date on it. With perfect timing it was passed to me this morning by someone from the old address. But it's a start and should keep Debbi off my back in a couple of weeks ;-) Steve NB Havinglunchandhidingfromtherain
