From a moored up and boats passing on the midlands narrow canals point of view 
we notice the K&A seems to have more fast passers then any other group though 
they are run close by boats from north of Wigan/Keadby and those coming or 
going to rallies and trying to get ahead (leaving) or catch up (going). With 
this in mind we use a number of fenders and 2 main ropes plus a spring - though 
some of these clowns even test this lot!
