SWMBO has just got hers.
The "standard" system to get a bus pass now (since April 2008) - which now 
covers you for all the country - is.
1. Fill in a form
2. Show age and address (we used birth cert, and the letter she got from 
Dept of Pensions to show how her pension had been calculated, and showing 
her address)
3. Have photo taken (Taken by Staff in Morcambe Town Hall on a digital 
camera)
4. Wait a few days until it turned up in the post.

The key thing (I suspect) is that they post it to you......
