Bumped into Eugene at the London Boat Show on Sunday near to the
floating exhibits....

Apparently Eugene had been peripherally involved with the delivery
arrangements for one particular wide-beam boat that was on display...
Anyway, he was a little surprised last Friday evening at about 9.30pm
by a knock on the door at home (a few miles from the nearest canal).
The gentleman at the door spoke very little English, but appeared to
be keen to know where Eugene wanted the wide-beam boat that was
sitting on his trailer parked out in the street! :-) (his address
appeared on one of the emails in a chain of correspondence, and the
the Dutch truck driver seems to have got a little over-enthusiastic!)
Evidently, much fun was had with the traffic, backing the truck and
trailer out of a narrow residential street in the dark....
