Try feather beds. They come in all sizes. They go nice on top of hard surfaces 
and fold up. But they are expensive. Still get a good one if you can afford it 
- less feathers come out.

My daughter is growing taller and won't fit on the sofa any more without 
hanging off the end. It is therefore time to build a bed. It will be

Browsing the Midland Chandlers site, they sell not too expensive 
Revitalite "bed in a bag" mattresses. No further info provided, and 
Google doesn't know much more. Sounds like it might be suitable as a 
dual purpose cushion and mattress if put in a cover. Does anyone know 
what they're like? Any other suggestions?
