If the problem is "constant traffic by enormous boats crewed by > yobs and litter louts" they could always make it a narrow canal with smaller boats! ;-) (Ducks for cover.) Seriously this is a brilliant and really important project - especially for "enormous" boat(er)s - and I wish it all the luck in the world. I'm sure that I joined the SWWT at some rally or other but I never heard from them again :-( Great to hear a suggestion of real progress. Steve NB Bream
