Definitely a Castle, and has a flat-sided Hawksworth tender and the "cycling lion" BR crest, so got to be 5043. 5029 Nunney Castle has "Great" <GWR crest> "Western" on the tender. Brian was right about it failing on the Birmingham-Bristol charter on the 28th. It had a problem near Oxford and limped on to Didcot, where it was repaired with help from the GWS guys at Didcot Railway Centre.
