Does that mean you actually moored outside The Trout, overlooking the weir?
I did that once, & got stuck returning to the main river on a sandbank for 4½ 
hours.
It cost me £40 for a snatch off which took over an hour to achieve!
Never again unless EA dredge the backwater!
