Depends on what you want as space - if you plan for photos you might need 
more than a simple site.

I've used/use
http://www.compila.com - I have 2 off the Bargain Linux package 
(http://www.compila.com/webhosting/linux/bargainplan.html) at £21.99 per 
year, including free UK domain renewal.  Never had any major problems 
(that's why I keep renewing!)
OR
I've also used http://www.ixwebhosting.com/index.php/v2/pages.hostingPlans - 
the Expert plan at $3.95 per month - that equates to £28.88 per year (at 
current rate) - including 1 free US domain and UNLIMITED storage and 
UNLIMITED data transfer.  I used them for a while for canal videos, until 
itv got heavy...
