My laptop has seriously crashed. When switched on it goes to "Recovery Wizzard".
This can be run but goes back to "Recovery" again! Sony-Vaio want over £225.00 up front to look at it and carry out a "normal" repair. This could be another £150 on top of this if extra work is required. Phew! As it is out of warranttee, I would like a suggestion for a reliable repairer who may be a lot less expensive. Sony, on the phone, seemed to suggest that a key on the keypad, may be stuck, or faulty, or that the hard drive has gone down. Impossible to know until the PC is inspected of course. I don't have enough knowledge to be more helpful. Do you know a good PC Doctor? (I am in the Berkhamsted area should there be one within striking distance), but it could be posted anywhere. Anyone any ideas please? ~Allan~
