Great to see the blog and the pikkies.

We passed you about 10 am on Wednesday morning on our way back to Heritage
(and Val managed a sentence or two as we passed - the boat is Aylestone). We
had overnighted just beyond Bridge 14 and had arrived in gathering gloom and
wished we had had the luxury of staying put but as it's a shared ownership boat
we had to be back at the boatyard ready for the next owners to take it over. We
had met David Kitching on our way up through the Bosley Flight as well and we
managed a brief chat there too.

The trip down the flight on Thursday was 'interesting' with strong winds and
the shallow cut slowing us down, especially when we had been blown into the
side. Thank heavens for the bow-thruster!!

Oh well, roll on next March when we will be terrorising the Macc once more as
we hope to reach Bugsworth this time.
