BW have got themselves between a rock and a hard place....sell now to patch up the system, or sell now to invest in "better" property at a low, that could be taken away from them at any time. Of course this "better" property will be away from the waterways, so not liable to whinging from the waterway supporters / historians and more desirable to potential purchasers of the BW property portfolio. This would add more inertia to the probable sell off of the property portfolio. BW have got them selves totally stuffed.
